South Carolina Counties March 2024 Market Overview Report for Chester, Chesterfield, Lancaster and York Counties, South Carolina. Average sales price up 3.1% to $422,256 from $409,439 in 2023. 47 days on market, which is down 7.8% year over year, which was 51 in 2023. Median sales price is $370,000 up 1.4% year over year. New listings are at 609, down 10.2% year over year. Closed sales were 520, down 13% year over year. Pending sales were at 582 in March, down 1.4% year over year. Inventory of homes for sale are up 11.2% at 816, compared to 734 in 2023, year over year. Months of supply is up 23.1% year over year, at 1.6 months, whereas it was 1.3 months in 2023.
